Contestant Information

2018 Campus Superstar

There are 3 rounds of competition, the auditions, the semi-final competition and the final show.  Contestants are invited to prepare a musical piece of their choice for the first round of auditions.  20 semi-finalists will move on to the second round of competition, the Semi-Final Show to be held at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater in Bloomington.  The judges will narrow the field to 10 finalists who will be invited to choose a Broadway show tune to perform at the Final Show.  The winner, chosen by the audience after the judges have narrowed the field to 5 contestants, will be crowned Campus Superstar 2019 and new awarded a $5000 prize!

Contestants are invited to choose any one of these dates to enter the competition and arrive any time during the given time frame.  It will take approximately 20-30 minutes of your time for a chance to win $5000.

Final Competition

Sunday, April 8 at 7 PM at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

Prize Information:

GRAND PRIZE: $5000 & 1 hour of recording time at a professional studio 

Second-Fifth Place: Each will receive $250 & 1 hour of recording time at a professional studio

Sixth-Tenth Place: Each will receive $100 & 1 hour of recording time at a professional studio
